As an expert in child neuropsychology, I work in the Neurology Service and in the School Learning Disorders Unit (UTAE), where I am also part of the coordination team. My work focuses on neuropsychological examinations in children with acquired brain damage, neuroimmunological diseases and inborn errors of metabolism, as well as in the diagnosis and assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including language disorders such as TDL, dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, dyscalculia, among others.
The study and understanding of the brain has always fascinated me, but it is the human touch that really gives meaning to my work. Inspired by the legacy of Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, whose words guided me at a vital moment in my life, I firmly believe that the greatest privilege of my profession, beyond providing an accurate diagnosis, is to accompany children and their families with empathy, understanding and closeness. Recognising the uniqueness of each story is fundamental to understanding their needs and providing them with the appropriate support.

Scientific activity

I have collaborated in the development of guidelines on neurodevelopmental disorders and in initiatives to disseminate knowledge in this field. One of my main current projects focuses on identifying specific neuropsychological profiles in neurodevelopmental disorders that allow for greater personalisation in clinical assessment and intervention, thus favouring a more effective approach adapted to the individual needs of each patient and their families.
