Jana Domínguez Carral

I graduated in Medicine in 2008 from the Universidad de Cantabria, I specialised in Pediatrics at the Hospital Universitario Marqués de Valdecilla (Santander) and I obtained accreditation in Child Neurology in 2014. Since then, I have worked as a child neurologist, with a special interest in epilepsy.

Between August 2019 and February 2020, I did an internship in the childhood epilepsy unit of the Evelina London Children's Hospital in London, United Kingdom. Since February 2020 I have been part of the Epilepsy Unit of SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital. My healthcare activity focuses on the evaluation and treatment of children with refractory epilepsies, including those who require highly complex diagnostic tests and/or non-pharmacological therapeutic alternatives.

My motivation is to improve the quality of life of my patients and their families.
