I started working at SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital in 2002 as a paediatric intensivist in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and I am currently responsible for the paediatric Emergency Medical Service (SEM) base. In 2019 I decided to get involved in the Hospital's simulation programme, a key learning technique for our professionals. I have always had a strong interest in learning and, consequently, in teaching. Good training is essential to achieve excellence in healthcare staff, which is why I am constantly training myself. Since 2021 I have been head of studies and president of the Teaching Commission at Sant Joan de Déu. My main objective is to accompany the centre's residents, listen to their needs and offer solutions to their problems.
