We bring people from different cultures together.
The Intercultural Mediation service attends to patients and families of different origins who have some kind of language and cultural difficulty. We work in coordination and collaboration with all the hospital's services to guarantee comprehensive assistance. This accompaniment is necessary at a time of difficulty when we offer families the opportunity to express their experiences in their mother tongue.
Our reference professional, Iman Boubri Abdelhadi (extension 73344) facilitates communication and rapprochement between the hospital's clinical and administrative staff and families from other cultures.
Our interventions are mainly focused on patients and families of Arab-Muslim origin, but we also coordinate the participation of mediators from other origins for patients and families from other cultures and backgrounds (Central Europe, Asia, etc.).
