Dr. Climent specialised in clinical neurophysiology at the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge. She has also sub-specialised in intraoperative neurophysiology and non-invasive neuromodulation.
She has worked as an assistant at the Intraoperative Neurophysiology Unit of the Hospital de Bellvitge, where she participated in the development and consolidation of the unit since its inception. In 2014 she became the director of the Intraoperative Neurophysiology programme at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. In addition, she was a clinical research scientist in the Non-Invasive Neuromodulation Research Unit at Burke Hospital, Cornell University, New York.
In 2016 she joined the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital as an associate of the Paediatric Neurology Department to develop and coordinate intraoperative neurophysiology in the Neurosurgery Department, as well as in other surgical specialties.
She is a researcher in the Epilepsy and Movement Disorders in Paediatrics group at the Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu, where she leads as principal investigator several clinical trials of non-invasive neuromodulation, as well as having published several publications in indexed journals and book chapters in the area of intraoperative neurophysiology and non-invasive neuromodulation.
