Irene de Haro Jorge

I graduated in Medicine from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2009 and subsequently completed my residency in Pediatric Surgery at SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital. In 2016 I started working as a specialist in the Paediatric Surgery Department, initially in the digestive, thoracic and minimally invasive surgery section and, since 2018, in the neonatal and hypospadias surgery section. I actively participate in the European Reference Network for Congenital (digestive and gastrointestinal) Anomalies (ERNICA), where quality standards and management of patients with these circumstances (diaphragmatic hernia, oesophageal atresia, omphalocele or gastroschisis, among others) are defined.
