After completing the MIR and specialising in anaesthesiology at the Hospital Clínic in Barcelona, I worked in several centres and at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona I felt at home. At first, I trained in paediatric anaesthesiology, and I soon became interested in regional anaesthesia. With the help of some of my colleagues, we promoted regional techniques and later introduced the use of ultrasound to perform them. Now we are a reference in ultrasound-guided paediatric regional anaesthesia.
I have fun when I learn.
