i4Kids Pediatric Innovation Hub opens call for proposals for the "Hospital Challenge Programme"

The i4KIDS Paediatric Innovation Hub has opened the call for the Hospital Challenge Based Programme 2024, calling all professionals and technology companies with a creative project focused on providing solutions to three main challenges facing paediatric hospitals:

• Improving clinical workflows to reduce the administrative burden on clinicians.
• Monitor high-risk medications and ensure safe medication practices for paediatric patients.
• Increase the efficiency of the appointment system to minimise missed appointments and improve patient outcomes.

Companies can submit their proposals until 11 August 2024, the closing date of the call.

Among the projects submitted, a jury will select the six best ones to participate in an ideas competition at the Pediatric Innovation Day 2024, which will take place in Riga, Latvia, on 27 September, with the cost of flight and accommodation to be covered by the organisation. During this event, a winner will be chosen who will receive:

• A prize of 5,000 euros to start a pilot project in one of the i4KIDS-EUROPE hospitals.
• A voucher for consultancy services with Inveniam Group.
• The option to follow up with at least two paediatric hospitals in the ECHO and i4KIDS-EUROPE network to explore the implementation of the solution within these hospitals.
