We also provide care for Gynaecological Oncology, pelvic floor disease, Endocrinology and problems related to reproduction.

Adulthood Specialties

We ensure the gynecological health of adult women during the different stages of their lives.

Uterine disease

Congenital uterine abnormalities and other benign disease (fibroids, endometrial polyps, functional bleeding, etc.) may be diagnosed and treated in those who wish to reproduce.

Adnexal disease

This affects the uterine adnexa, which consists of the Fallopian tubes and the ovaries. It tends to be diagnosed by ultrasound and, when necessary, treated by laparoscopy.

Benign breast disease

This disease is not cancer (it includes cysts, lipomas and fibroadenomas). It does not increase the risk of breast cancer, but should be followed and treated by a specialist.

Pelvic floor

We are experts in conservative and surgical therapies to improve and/or resolve the two main pelvic floor weakness diseases: urinary incontinence and prolapse.

Endocrinology and reproduction

We treat alterations in the hormonal systems that takes part in the regulation of the sexual and reproductive functions of women.

Gynaecological Oncology

Gynaecological Oncology encompasses the prevention and treatment of cancer, mainly that which affects the uterus, ovaries, vulva and cervix.

Cryopreservation: preservation of ovarian tissue

This fertility preservation technique is offered to cancer patients who are to receive chemotherapy or radiotherapy and still wish to reproduce.

Adolescence Specialties

Multidisciplinary Unit led by Gynaecology. It involves the joint work of specialists from different services: Endocrinology, Mental Health and other pediatric specialties that can intervene in each specific case.

Menstrual disorders

We offer treatment and counselling for the most common disorders: premenstrual syndrome and pain that occurs during menstruation (dysmenorrhea).

Polycystic ovary syndrome

We perform good follow-up and treatment to minimise risks (changes in the menstrual cycle, cysts on the ovaries and often - but not always - difficulty getting pregnant).

Vulvar and vulvovaginal infections

In the course of their lives, 75% of women experience an episode of vulvovaginitis. Candidal vulvovaginitis (vaginal yeast infection) is the most prevalent.

Early puberty

Early puberty is due to early exposure to women's hormone levels. We offer specialised professional treatment and counselling.

Late puberty

Late puberty is defined as a lack of pubertal onset at 13 years of age in girls. We offer specialised professional treatment and counselling.

Breast disease

Most breast disorders occur as benign nodules, but it is important to identify their nature to be able to treat malignant disease early.

Hirsutism

This is excessive hair growth in women according to a masculine distribution pattern. It is a disorder that affects approximately 10% of women of childbearing age.
